Reason to exist.
One of the biggest frustration I’ve notice in the typical California EGL community is that events are very hard to monitor. Most gatherings and events are loosely posted on blogging community which are not very intuitive to navigate and search for watch for updates. This is more so a phenomenon in northern California, than southern is that we don’t normally communicate directly with each others plus we are scatter far and wide. Thus this branch site was born to address this issue.
Here, you will find a no-nonsense informational listing of EGL relevant events to help build our little community. It is my hopes that at some point, we will grow into a more prominent community. Where we can enjoy each others company face to face over a pot of tea, rather than an ad laden internet conduit. A final note regarding to this website. It is 100% funded by Cosplay Oneesan, a registered non-profit 501(c)3 organization which promotes professionalism in asia focused fashion, and cosplay events planning. You will never find ads, forced to register yet another useless account, web-pages that’ll take over your computer here. So that you can quickly get to the information you want, without the annoyance.
